I love samurai swords. They are sleek and deadly, but sometimes I feel how about a sword which is unusually huge.

But, then I look at my size… nah!

The sleek samurai sword is fine for me.

But, there is one man who possesses a huge sword and he is Bankotsu.

The sword Banryu, is also Bankotsu’s companion.

Bankotsu is terrifically huge; it is so big that it takes at least three men to move it around. It has a crescent shaped design on its pommel.

Wind Scar by Inuyasha damaged the sword, which led to some limitations. Me and my friends watch this marvelous anime show, Inuyasha and we witnessed the incident, when the sword was damaged.

You can also catch that episode, as it is available online.

Talking about the mystical Banryu; in the anime series, it was unveiled that if Bankotsu slays one thousand demons and humans and covers the blade of the sword with their blood, it will acquire demonic powers.

A sword without lethal attacks has no place in Inuyasha, and Banryu can unleash a wide variety of attacks on its opponent like Dragon Thunder. This attack can prove to be extremely dangerous, as the sword can rally a thunderstorm and come up with numerous electric bolts, which can kill instantly.

Banryu is capable of releasing Wind Scar type attacks, known as the Dragon Hammer, but this attack is pink in color.

How about burning everything down with one strike?

Pretty cool, huh!

Banryu can do that too, with its Heat Blast attack.

WOW! That’s amazing.

Is it all that Banryu is capable of?

Well, no!

The Hatred Blast, which is considered as the most vicious attack, is something that Banryu releases on its enemy. It combines the hatred in halberd with the 4 Shikon jewels and creates an immensely powerful attack, filled with anger and rage.

I so want this sword man!

Let me check out the super market, maybe they have it in stock!

LOL!

Here’s another yoke from InuYasha, responsible to steam the show’s premises!

Well, last time we discussed an adorable form of love, the one that cropped up between the endearing couple, Kikyo and InuYasha; which actually impelled us to believe that love is immortal.

Even the vow “Till Death Do Us Apart” proved out to be untrue for the two of a kind, as they challenged ingenerate phenomena of eternal rest and lumped back years after, continuing with their endless love for each other.

Well, it’s a sort of a love that’s highly unlikely to happen anywhere else on the earth, but yeah, it’s in galore on InuYasha episodes. And the interesting part is that people love to read about it!

So, here’s presented another love story from InuYasha, that’s not as innocent as of Kikyo and InuYasha, but of course shares the same essence of fervor and devotion.

Yup! I’m talking about the nifty relation between Sango and Miroku!

Joining InuYasha in his travels across the globe, Miroku and Sango found themselves with feelings for each other. Though the lustful Buddhist monk was initially interested in fondling Sango’s bottom only, later he proposed the girl for marriage. The couple has often seen locking lips and making love while being on their unflinching mission of slaying the evil demons.

You can download the sterling series to witness the far-out love story of the demon slayers, in your leisure. Well, it’s not only InuYasha who displayed an example of eternal love, but Miroku also exhibits a sea-change in his feelings, as he stops his lecherous actions and marries Sango for his lifetime.

The word ‘Shippo’ is enough to bring a huge smile on the face of any InuYasha fan.

Shippo is, without a doubt, the most endearing character on the show, who has undergone an immense transformation since his first appearance.

For anyone, who hasn’t followed the anime long enough to recall the initial stages of this character, reading his story should make it far more intriguing for you to watch him the next time you download this show.

Shippo was introduced as a villainous character in InuYasha, which may sound pretty unbelievable when you picture his current image of a sweet and naïve seven-year-old. When he first interacted with InuYasha and Kagome, he did not have the most earnest intentions.

Instead, he wished to rob them of the Shikon Jewel that they were protecting. But his amateurish skills were no match, when compared to the far more superior skills of this duo. They were quick to see through his plan, and were shocked to know that he had such ugly intentions!

One would expect them to have developed an intense hatred for him. However, InuYasha and Kagome have always been extremely caring, which is one of the principle reasons behind their immense success as warriors.

They immediately empathized with the little boy after they learnt that he was an orphan. They took him under their wing, and vowed to protect and teach him the ways of life.

Well, that was the first step of this radical relation, which converted them from foes to friends.

As time passed, the bond between InuYasha and Shippo became deeper, and they soon developed brotherly love for each other.

As Shippo showcased his often unsuccessful attempts at having special powers, InuYasha provided him with all the guidance that he needed.

Much like real brothers, they also have their dark moments. Remember when Shippo passed cheeky comments to InuYasha, he was answered back with a smack from his ‘big brother’.

We hope their love has lingered on, though the show is off air!

We’ve often seen people of short height doing wonders in their respective fields. One can peep into the history, only to find the testimony to the fact that many a time intelligent brains come in small sizes. Well, falling in the same category is an orphaned, young fox demon of InuYasha series, whom we all know as ‘Shippo’.

Shippo, owing to his short height, looks like a seven year old boy. He often rides on the shoulders of the people close to him. Though his actual age is never mentioned in the series, he is assumed to be aged seven as per his appearance. Interestingly, he’s got the ability to create illusionary duplicates of himself, which help him to bamboozle his foes.

The character was introduced to the series as an antagonist, who had plans to steal the Shikon jewel from InuYasha, to acquire for himself a whole lot of extraordinary abilities. Dedicated to avenge his father’s demise, he transcends all the impediments coming his way, but fails to defraud Kagome and InuYasha. Though he joins the duo to play them for a sucker, he is aided by them and is invited to get annexed to their group for the rest of his life.

Being blessed with powers to countervail fox-fire magic and toy-based tricks, Shippo is often seen protecting and impressing little girls of the village. He also joins InuYasha and his team in their final battle against Naruko and makes his presence felt with his vital contribution.

One can download the enticing episodes of the series, to revel in the fun-filled ambience that gets created, as Shippo directs cheeky comments towards InuYasha.

Being a possessor of certain fox-like creatures, Shippo serves as the younger sibling to Kagome and InuYasha, who, in return, love him like anything!

Well, gorge upon the adventures of this little packet of entertainment, by watching InuYasha in your leisure.

The vow ‘till death do us apart’ did not stand true for InuYasha and Kikyo, not because they stopped loving each other, but because they continued loving each other even after Kikyo breathed her last. Their love started as an innocent youthful affair, with InuYasha developing an instant liking for this beautiful priestess who guarded the coveted jewel.

Just when everything seemed to be going perfectly for them, the evil half demon, Naraku, crept between them, and wreaked havoc in their relationship. Being equipped with the art of shape shifting, he successfully got them to believe that each of them wished the other bad.

While InuYasha ended up wounding Kikyo and killing her, she froze him into an immobile state for 50 years. However, their love story being a special one, there’s no way that it could end so unresolved. As InuYasha sprung back to life, Kikyo was also lured back to him, and reincarnated as Kagome.

Even though the real identity of Kagome remained concealed from InuYasha for long, yet he couldn’t resist the attraction that he felt for her. If you wish to relive the beautiful moments that InuYasha and Kagome spent together, you can watch them together on InuYasha, by tuning in to the show online.

Their romance took a strange twist as Kagome and Kikyo begin to compete with one another to win over InuYasha’s heart, despite the fact that they are indeed, the same person. All this added a whole lot of drama to this captivating romance, which reached its climax as the two were forced to live apart for three years.

However, their love for each other managed to survive against all odds, and they finally reunited in one of the most emotional moments of the entire series. Watching Kagome and InuYasha locking lips and pledging to stay together forever made the entire wait worthwhile!

Can you imagine any war without weapons?

I know your answer guys. Be it a world war or Inuyasha series’ furious fights; a fighter cannot jump in a war without his weapons. Today, we will discuss a few exclusive arms that have been used by the audacious fighters of the series.

Unlike our world, Inuyasha series’ fighters don’t use weapons for destruction. In fact, they keep them for the safety of the Jewel of Four Souls.

The arrow of Three Sacred Light Soul, Destruction Barrier and Sword of destruction are a few powerful weapons that are geared up by the strong fighters of the series.

Tessaiga or the Sword of Destruction becomes even more powerful, if it is in the hand of a powerful person. Its power-absorbing abilities helped Inuyasha to beat Naraku in a battle. Unlike other ordinary weapons, it selects its own master. Sesshomaru was rejected by it when he tried to gain its hold.

Only a pure-hearted soul like Inuyasha can handle it. The show is off air, but you can download all the long-gone installments of Inuyasha to witness the spectacular wars.

The Jewel of Four Souls can be considered as a treasure as well as a weapon, because this powerful crystal can turn any ordinary man into a superhuman. Majorly, the sphere is made up of four souls – courage, friendship, wisdom and love.

The Sword of Hell or of World Conquest, Sou’unga, holds the potential to beckon 100 dead souls in one go! The resurrection attack of the sword can work even against the unfathomable attacks of Tenseiga!

Naginata of Kenkon is a single-bladed weapon that can pierce the target without a touch. After the Jewel of Four Souls, Naginata is the most powerful weapon. Several such weapons serve as a highlight of this show, making it a series that must not be missed.

Remember the word ‘Anime’?

I bet you do.

And my belief gets much stronger, when I relate ‘Anime’ from Japan, to the world.

Now you must be getting it right.

The great anime series has stopped its successful airing, but those large round eyes, that typical V shaped chin are still tough to miss.

Inuyasha has been the most popular anime series till date. The relevance of writing this blog, gets more substantial, when one is acquainted with the fact, that till date, a beyond-count number of people, search for Inuyasha on the search engines.

The fantasy tale of Kagome Higurashi and Inuyasha, who have been the faces of this anime series, are seen fighting in an attempt to save the Jewel of Four Souls from the wrong hands.

The tale is still so enticing, that you get pulled along all the beyond imagination adventures, as the story progresses. And the episodes, directed by Masahil Ikeda and Yasunao Akodi, coming straight from the manga series, took great steps northwards, to get converted into films, which went beyond Japan, to take over the world!

Inuyasha is still one of the most loved females in the world of anime!

As a result, it got its English version, under the aegis of Viz Media and had its US release courtesy, Cartoon Network.
Not just in English, it also saw its Spanish version, which shows the global effect and popularity of the series.

No wonder, you still get to see kids wearing Inuyasha tattoos and merchandise.

This feudal fairy tale has become a household name now. There are so many fan fiction websites dedicated to the show, and here one can create chapters or sub plots.

Wow!

Now that is something which depicts the effect that Inuyasha has on people. Especially when the readers are so like-minded towards the love they have for Inuyasha.

A perfect story of friendship, wild actions, blasts – you name it and Inuyasha has it.

As the search is going on for any resurgence of Inuyasha in upcoming times, it is good to have the original and wonderful Inuyasha, which has rubbed shoulders with American cartoon creativity too.

And as life moves on, Inuyasha will move on with us!

InuYasha’s fans are spread all over the world, from Asia to Americas. Howsoever varied they might be, there’s one thing that is common to all of them. They are still clamoring for more of this hit anime series. Reruns of episodes are just not enough for the hungry fans.

The anime series may have stopped airing, but the manga series is still being published. And believe me guys; as long as the manga is rolling, there is always hope for the renewal of its anime version as well. But until that happens, we still have the InuYasha movies to get us through these supposed hard times. So far, so good, there have been 4 movies.

The four movies are: Affections Touching across Time, The Castle beyond the Looking Glass, Swords of an Honorable Ruler and Fire on the Mystic Island.

I’ve had the pleasure of going through all four and I can tell you that they are all pretty good. But my personal favorite has to be the fourth movie. The highlight of this movie for me was the fight sequence involving InuYasha and Ryura, although InuYasha was nearly killed by Ryura if it wasn’t for Kagome. It was thrilling to say the least!

Talking about the good stuff in context of the series, lot of people claim that episode 48 was the best ever. Once again I don’t think so. For me, there is not really any best episode; I’ve enjoyed each episode like the previous one. But I do believe that episode 48, titled Return to the Place We First Met, was the complete package in terms of total entertainment. In this episode, Kagome is finally revealed to be jealous of InuYasha and Kikyo’s relationship. However, she takes it in a negative way and tries to leave them and thinks about returning to the shards of the Shikon Jewel. If you disagree, I suggest you to go and watch the show again.
