The first season of the series Inuyasha started on 31st August 2002. In the first episode Kagome is dragged into an ancient well by a demon centipede. She finds herself in a forest where she is arrested by strange villagers and taken to the high priestess Kaede who realizes that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo. Kaede then tells Kagome about the Jewel of Four Souls and how she had pinned Inuyasha. Kaede places a magical necklace on Inuyasha which makes him obey Kagome. Kagome accidentally breaks up the sacred jewel into numerous shards that are dispersed all across Japan. Kagome tries to go back into her own time after a fight with Inuyasha but he gets Kagome back and the two together set out on the journey to retrieve the shards of Jewel. They come across Inuyasha’s demon brother Sesshomaru, who is looking for Tetsusaiga powerful sword of his father.

Kagome comes to know that Sesshomaru is tricking Inuyasha into revealing the location of their father’s grave to get the powerful sword. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru fight each other for the possession of the sword retrieved by Kagome. Next Inuyasha and Kagome help a prince possessed by a toad demon to search and rescue his beloved. Later they meet Shippo the fox demon, who wants the pieces of the sacred jewel to fight Hiten and Manten who already possess the pieces of the sacred jewel[Read More..]
