The sixth season of the series started on 4th January 2006. In the first episode Inuyasha accompanies Kagome to the modern times when she brings home some rare dried food from the past which are actually dried up demons. Inuyasha gets angry on watching the school play in which Kagome has a love scene with Hojo. Chokyukai tries to force Kagome to marry him by putting the magical tiara on her but Inuyasha instead falls in love. Shippo uses the Heart Scar to protect a group of fox demons from a lizard demon. Inuyasha and his friends come to know about a village inhabited by women demons and they determine to learn the truth about it.

Sango and Miroku are trapped by the village women who are being controlled by a demon while Inuyasha tries to save his friends. The group moves to a coastal town where they come across a beautiful woman named Sara whose eyes are set on the powerful sword Tetsusaiga and she tries to steal it. When Inuyasha and Sesshomaru meet head on with Sara, she reveals an appalling secret. Miroku goes to meet his foster father Mushin, who is on his death bed. Miroku decides to exploit his skills as an exorcist to earn some money. While she is in the feudal era, Kagome comes across Akitoki Hojo who is an ancestor of Hojo.Things get complicated when she comes to know that Hojo had another ancestor named Kagome who married Akitoki. Akitoki and Kagome get separated from Inuyasha and the group and are attacked by ninja demons while they are on a mission to purify the Ken blade.[Read More...]
